Napster Reduced Price on Music
NEW YORK, May 18 – Online digital music supplier Napster anounced it is slashing its monthly subscription fees from $12.95 to $5.
This subscription plan allows users unrestricted streaming from a catalog of over 7 million songs. You can download the songs to play on MP3 Player. The new subscription plan is currently available only to U.S. customers.
Napster was shut down in 2001, relaunched in 2003 as an online music store. It was acquired by Best Buy Inc. in October for about $122 million in cash. Six months after buying Napster it relaunch its music-streaming service $5 a month.
